It is the property owner’s responsibility to maintain their property in such a condition so that all uncultivated vegetation thereon is cut, sprayed or otherwise controlled so that the height does not exceed six inches. Properties found in violation will be given five days to abate the nuisance. Failure to do so may result in the City abating the nuisance and assessing the costs of abatement to the property owner.
It is unlawful for any person to throw or deposit grass, weeds, or any other debris on any street or alley in the City. Such debris is likely to be washed into the storm sewer and clog the storm sewer.
